Spring is here and I saw my first Robin of the year! So I took it as a sign to plan another Round Robin Event! It is an opportunity for everyone. Whether you had so much fun, you want to return, or were unable to participate last year or you are new to the guild. There is no fee for this event! You can sign up by contacting Cathy or Jeri
Join Michael as he shows you how to properly service your machine at home and avoid those pesky maintenance fees! Please note: training will be for domestic machines, Michael is certified in all brands with the exception of Brenna or Burnett.
Here is a list of items that you will need to bring and or purchase for the class to effectively work on your machines:
1. Your machine
2. The tool set that you were provided when you purchased the machine or an equivalent
3. One can of condensed air or forced air
4. Q-tips, tweezers, sewer aid or sewing machine oil, wet wipes or something equivalent, small Phillips or flathead screwdriver if you don’t have your original tool set for your machine.
The Guild is happy to add another UFO day for your sewing pleasure. Any guild member is invited to join us at the Antioch Township Building, the Saturday after our guild meeting. A $5 cash donation will be collected to give to the Antioch Township Center ($10 for non-members).

Our 3rd annual guild mystery quilt has started! Sign-ups are ongoing and previous clues will be sent to everyone who would like to join in. Join your fellow guild members in trying to quilt without pre-knowledge of the pattern! Sign up with, or direct any questions to mystery@nlcqg.org
Do you EQ? The guild has formed an Electric Quilt group. Starting in January we’ll be creating challenges, exploring features and mostly just trying to use EQ8 a little each month.
January will bring us our first quilt design challenge. If you’re signed up, look for the challenge in your inbox along with an invitation to a zoom meeting to discuss the process. If you’re not signed up, we’d love to have you join us! Even if you don’t own EQ, it’s fascinating to see what it can do.

At the December meeting we will kick off our Challenge Quilt Exchange. This project will start by exchanging half-yard pieces with fellow guild members. More information is attached in the link here and Programs will be introducing this event at the October meeting.
