Join us for on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at the Dolly Spiering Community Center 817 Holbek Antioch, IL. Doors open at 6:00 PM for fellowship, questions, and quilting help. Meeting starts at 7:00 PM. 
Following the general meeting will be one of the most popular events of the year… Rafflemania! It’s the perfect time for spring cleaning! Remember the old saying “One quilter’s trash is another quilters treasure”? Now is the time to pass on all those unwanted items in your sewing room. Bundle your extras, unwanted and “what was I thinking” items up and let them go to another lucky quilter. Is there something extra special in your giveaway pile? Our Rafflemania will have a special section this year. We probably all have that “it’s too good to give away” item that’s gathering dust in the corner. That’s a perfect fit for our silent auction table! It is easier to let go of things if it helps a good cause. Northern Lake County Quilt Guild is a great cause! Specialty items like complete kits or new yardage will have a sperate table with bid sheets. The highest bidder wins and all proceeds will help the guilds operating costs. For those of you who are new to Rafflemania – on June 3 you will come into our meeting to see long tables with paper bags taped along the sides. Everyone will receive 10 free tickets, additional tickets will be available for purchase. You need to put your name on each ticket. Members will place neatly bundled items by each bag. You will put your ticket(s) in the bags near the items you hope to win. At an announced time that evening, bidding will stop on the silent auction items and the lucky winners names will be drawn. One important rule of Rafflemania – If the items you brought did not get won, you must take them back! It’s always a fun evening of surprises!
