Join us for on Wednesday, April 2, 2026 at the Dolly Spiering Community Center 817 Holbek Antioch, IL for a workshop showcasing a combination of foundation paper piecing (FPP) and Applique. Lina will have kits available for purchase at our April 1st meeting (optional). Class Cost: $35. Please sign up at our March meeting. Payment can be made by cash/check or Zelle. The fabric requirements for the entire quilt listed below and specially printed foundation printed paper will be provided for the FPP.
The finished block size is 18″ square. Using half the fabrics listed would be sufficient if you’d like to make just 4 blocks total (2 of each design/variation). This will make a quilt that is 36″ square finished. Fabric Requirements:
- Background Fabric: 3 yards
- Color 1 (Camino Block): 1 yard
- Color 2 (Camino Block): 1 yard
- Color 1 (Brilla Block): 1 yard
- Color 2 (Brilla Block): 1 yard
- Fusible webbing for appliqué: 1 1/8 yards
- Binding: ½ yard
- Backing: 3 ½ yards
