Raffle Quilt News

Each member is asked to take 30 tickets to sell (6 for $5 or $1 each) to friends, family or just to purchase yourself to help support the guild. Remember this is our fund raiser since we voted several years ago not to do a quilt show. This is how we fund those wonderful programs we all enjoy.

Our Raffle Quilt Ticket Coordinator will have raffle tickets available for members to pick up at the meetings. There is also a sign-up sheet at the meeting for all the upcoming events which include a few craft shows and quilt guild visits. Please consider signing up where you may be able to help, especially if you are a member of that guild.

June 29th UFO Location Change

The location for the UFO Day on the 29th from 9:00 – 5:00 has been changed to Grant Township Building, 26725 W Molidor Rd, Ingleside, IL.  Seating is limited, so if you are interested in reserving one of the 20 tables, please email UFO@nlcqg.org.

The room is on the lower level, and everyone should enter through the back of the building. No stairs. This will be the location for our UFO days through the end of 2024 and reservations will be needed for each month.  Due to the limited seating, this event is only open to members at this time.

UFO – New Days Added

Starting this weekend, three two day sewing retreats have been scheduled at the township center.
  • Join us both Saturday May 25th (From 9-9) and Sunday May 26th (From 9-5) to work on your UFO’s (you can leave your sewing machine and supplies there Saturday night).
  • Additional dates (more information to come) are June 8th & 9th and June 28th & 29th so mark your calendars!
