Join us for a little extra holiday fun at our December Guild meeting!
Create a holiday-themed quilted piece that someone could hang on their front door or in that perfect little empty spot on the wall.
Hosted by Julie Reynolds (THANK YOU JULIE) We’d love to have as many members participate as possible, so please sign up either at a guild meeting or via mail at giftexchange@nlcqg.org and join the fun!
Guidelines:
- Finished size should be approximately 18″–24″
- Please attach a loop, sleeve, cord, or other way to hang it
- Holiday or winter themed — not limited to Christmas
Then, place your finished quilted piece inside a wrapped shoebox and add a few small sewing goodies for the recipient. Ideas include thread, a fat quarter, needles, a seam ripper, chocolate kisses, or other little quilting treats.
Nothing needs to be extravagant — the idea is simply to create something handmade, add a few fun surprises, and share a little holiday cheer with another quilter.
