Has everyone checked out our library yet? The Charity/Library Challenge reveal is at our September meeting. Our fabric bins will be at the July meeting. Contact library@nlcqg.org to arrange receiving your item. The rules: 1. Choose fabric from our stash that can be used anywhere in your project. 2. Create an item using a tool or pattern from our library. 3. The item must be for one of our usual charity recipients. NLCQG Boutique, Project Linus (children) Stabben House (women and children), Village at Victory Lakes (nursing home). We will have two categories, quilts and boutique items. There will be viewers choice ballots and prizes will be awarded. Charity sewing days has taken a break lately. Is there interest in renewed Charity sewing projects in conjunction with Antioch UFO days? Ready to sew kits could be available. We will ask at our May meeting if we should plan sewing days in the coming months. Your donations are always accepted! Don’t wait for September to help comfort those in our community.
