The Wool Applique Group on Thursday M
Starting this weekend, three two day sewing retreats have been scheduled at the township center.
Due to our location change (and the fact that many of you would like to enjoy a fireworks celebration on the 3rd) we will be pushing the July guild meeting back one week. Mark your calendars to celebrate with BINGO and ice cream at the Lake Villa Library on July 10th from 6:30 – 8:30!
Our July meeting will include not only our traditional ice cream social, but we will also be surrounded by mystery quilts while playing Quilter’s BINGO!
Summer is almost here and the spring air is warming up quickly! What better way to stay cool than to have a beautiful fan! This Applique block is sure to kick your quilt up a notch! The Circus tent tends to be warm so get your fan ready for a cool breeze while the acrobats show off their skills! Enjoy this easy block!

The plan is to have racks up to display these at our July meeting and be surrounded by quilts as we play bingo and eat ice cream. Plan on bringing your completed quilt (or quilt top) in July and share it with the guild!

Learn how to add led lights to your quilts while making a zodiac constellation wall hanging. In this class we will be adding coin battery holders and conductive thread to fabric and learning a technique to make future projects sparkle!
