April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and The Children’s Advocacy Center in Gurnee would like to give blue blankets to their participants. The blankets don’t have to be a solid blue, just primarily blue with each side measuring 36 inches or longer. The deadline is March 30th. You can give them to Roberta Alexander or Karen Grage at the March guild meeting or UFO. You can also drop them off at Roberta’s in Gurnee (1999 Westfield).
Remember to check your blankets for pins and donate them in unscented plastic bags.
