The Magic of EASY Machine Appliqué

“The Magic of EASY Machine Appliqué” – draw, cut, machine stitch, so easy anyone can do it!
Fast, Fun and you learn ALL of Pat’s tips for making soft fusible appliqué! In class you will create a sample to test your stitching. She walks you through each step of the appliqué process, from cutting to getting a great size blanket stitch on your machine.
Skill level: Beginner and up.
Pat’s Little Blue Bird pattern included free for each student.
Cost is $40 for members $45 for non-members
Registration for non-members begins June 12, 2013.

Workshop “Patchwork Borders Too” Part 3 of the Patchwork Borders Series
Borders make the quilt….and sometimes, borders ARE the quilt. In this all-day hands on workshop, we explore patchwork borders, mitering tricks and clever finishes. This is a notebook class and you will have sewn samples as reminders. It is not necessary to have taken Patchwork Borders to take Borders Too. Everyone is welcome, regardless of skill level.
The fee for the six-hour workshop is $25 per person, plus an additional $3 charge for the notebook (payable to Jan at time of workshop). Pre-cutting instructions will be supplied upon registration. Registration deadline is May 25th.
