BOM and General Meeting

Look at how our Library has grown! Our guild got 9 new books from Shoo Fly Quilts with our collection of receipts totaling $2000!

Schoolhouse Time

Sharon Wick showed us the wonders of Machine Embroidery.

Elizabeth Mini blew our minds for uses of yo-yo's.

Carol Dunn demonstrated hand quilting - lets see lots of hand quilted quilts next show ladies!

And Robin Kessell helped us all learn more about paper piecing.

Charity

Look at all the wonderful things turned in for Good Shepherd's premies!

And Everyones Favorite - Show and Tell

Nancy's Underground Railroad quilt, and 2 fun seasonal wall hangings.

Randi turned this antique star block into a very beautiful pillow sham. Barb did this beautiful applique in a class while Pam finished this wonderful autumn color quilt.

Diane made this gorgeous Christmas sampler for her daughter. Diane #2(the next Diane) is always willing to show us her "stuff". Carol made this cute bag for an auction at her son's school and had to be highest bidder to win it back!

Joyce managed to make this cute sox wall hanging - although it might have been cuter if it were the Cubs! She also made the most adorable baby quilt with fish on it. Judy came up with her own design for a U of Ohio Buckeye quilt! Very clever idea!

Meanwhile we all drooled over Shar's Dear Jane! I don't think she will be letting this out of her sight! And Mary Ellen made this great 9-patch chain quilt.

Rita needs to hold tight to this welcome quilt because I think we ALL wanted to take it home. It was originally for a gift, but even her husband wanted her to keep it - sooooo, she made the next table runner for the gift instead! Joann Compton has fallen in love with fabric landscape painting.

More of Joann's painted fabrics - can you tell she is hooked!

One last look at Joann's painted fabric. Shelia however has made some wonderful blocks of all kinds of colors and styles! She is just enjoying the journey of making blocks!

One last look at a 30's block of Shelia's. Joyce finished this warm, rich looking mystery quilt - don't you just LOVE the colors. Dawn's first version of a folk art quilt done in folk art colors and style.

Then Dawn's latest version for a totally different look - no longer folk art at all!
