Please join us for a open sew Saturday where we will make thread catchers for the quilt show. We’ll meet at the township center from 10:00 until 3:00. Any member of the Northern Lake County Quilters Guild is welcome to attend. There is no registration or cost. Come and stay as long as you want, just an hour or two, or the entire day! There is a refrigerator and microwave available, so you may bring a lunch if you wish.
You’ll need your sewing machine, thread and fabric. For each thread catcher, you’ll need a fat quarter of a main fabric (18″ x 21″) and a fat eighth (9″ x 21″) for lining. They’re easy to make, so bring enough fabric to make two or more! We’ll supply the strapping to go around the top and the instructions.
