Please join us for our July 7th Ice Cream Social at the Lake County Forest Preserve – Hastings Lake, Shelter A, 2115 W Gelden Road, Lake Villa, IL 60046.
The general meeting will start at 6:00 PM followed by our annual ice cream social. We’ll have a variety of ice cream snacks. Please BYOD and a folding chair if you have one you like, or a picnic blanket. The Pavilion just has picnic tables with attached benches.
Bring your Show ‘N Tell projects to share in person, and If
you have completed charity quilts, bring them to be collected for distribution.
The Village Quilters will be joining us for the festivities. They will bring their Opportunity quilt to display and sell tickets.

Meeting & Ice Cream Social at 6pm
Due to the Hastings Lake operating hours, our meeting needs to end by dusk (approx. 8:30pm), therefore our meeting needs to start at 6:00pm. Following our general meeting, we will have ice cream.
Directions from the township center to Hastings Lake
Go south on Deep Lake Road about 1 mile to Gelden Road.
Turn left on Gelden road.
Go about 1 mile to the Forest Preserver entrance.
Turn right into the Forest preserve.
Shelter A is the first parking lot on your right.
