Challenge Guidelines 2006

"THE DEMISE OF SUE" - 2006 QUILT SHOW CHALLENGE

Your entry may not be any larger than 24" X 24".

You may embellish with anything you wish (NO REAL BLOOD, PLEASE).

Your quilt must be FINISHED!

You need a sleeve for hanging on the back (it may be a temporary sleeve, if you wish).

Please do not put your label on the quilt until AFTER the challenge.

You may put your name on the INSIDE of your sleeve, if you're worried about it.

Try to keep your ideas private; no need to tip-off the competition.

To qualify for judging, the quilter's identity must be SECRET.

You must show Sue's signatue bonnet!

DO NOT SHARE YOUR PLOT FOR SUE'S DEMISE; NO MATTER HOW TEMPTED!

The board has approved the purchase of 50 Sunbonnet Sue Pins for participants of the 2006 Challenge! To qualify you must enter a completed challenge quilt. Remember - there are only 50 pins ordered.

Oh Sue, what did you do?
What happened to you?

I told you not to leave the house.
I told you it was not your day.

You just had to go:
For your fabric fix.

I should have known,
You'd be up to your tricks.

Now, dear Sue,
We will miss you.

But, as for your stash...
To your family, it's cash!

So, dear Sue;
This is our tribute to you.

I'll tell of your demise,
So, maybe...others will get wise!
