March Guild Rummage Sale – Book Sale Table

Our next in person meeting is March 1st and will be our Annual Rummage Sale (see upcoming events for details).  Along with the members’ sales tables, the guild will be having a book sale table.

How you can help:

  1. Clear out your craft books, (quilting, knitting, crocheting etc) and bring them to the March meeting to donate to the sale table.
  2. Invite your quilting friends to the meeting (no guest fee!) to enjoy shopping the book sale and members’ tables.
  3. Enjoy some new books for yourself (prices will be $3 for one, $5 for two, $10 for six) at bargain prices.

All proceeds from the book sale will go to the guild and any leftover books will be kept and brought to Rafflemania. Contact programs@nlcqg.org with any questions or to reserve your table.

Post Card Exchange

During our zoom meeting months of January and February, our guild will be sponsoring a quilted postcard exchange. It’s not complicated, sign up and you’ll receive an email at the end of December with your January partner. Send your partner a quilted postcard at any time during January and they’ll send you one in return! At the end of January, you’ll receive an email indicating your February partner and you’ll just repeat the process. Easy peasy!

Want to see the postcards exchanged by our guild members during 2020 and 2021?  Click here: postcard photos

Ready to sign up? Just send an email to: postcard@nlcqg.org. There will also be a sign-up sheet at our December meeting.

Dear Jane Quilt Group

Are you interested in learning about making a Dear Jane quilt? We are meeting at 6:00pm before our December meeting. Interested but don’t want to do all the blocks? That’s ok, make few and create a table runner, lap quilt, or some other project. So come to the meeting to see what it’s all about. No cost to participate. If you wish to be a part of this Dear Jane group, please send an email to: dearjane@nlcqg.org.
