Our July meeting will be an ice cream social. We’ll meet on Wednesday, July 3rd at 7:00 in the Antioch Township Center. Choose your ice cream then decorate your dessert with a large variety of toppings supplied by our members! You’ll enjoy a leisurely evening talking to other members while you eat your creation. Bring along your latest completed projects for show and tell. There will be no formal program at this meeting.
We had a fantastic workshop with Jan Krueger of Hearthside Quilters Nook on June 6th. Here’s just a few pictures of our members and their hard work.

Pat’s fun, fast moving and very lively slide presentation takes you from her ‘First First Quilt’ to her latest and greatest adventures in quilting. Along the way you’ll learn some great tips to faster quilting, how she does her appliqué, figure out what it means to work in series (it’s good!), and find out where she is on the internet so you can hang out with her!

“The Magic of EASY Machine Appliqué” – draw, cut, machine stitch, so easy anyone can do it!
Fast, Fun and you learn ALL of Pat’s tips for making soft fusible appliqué! In class you will create a sample to test your stitching. She walks you through each step of the appliqué process, from cutting to getting a great size blanket stitch on your machine.
Skill level: Beginner and up.
Pat’s Little Blue Bird pattern included free for each student.
Cost is $40 for members $45 for non-members
Registration for non-members begins June 12, 2013.
